Dear; this is the end for all kinds of migraine;
Please read about my new surgical treatment for migraine, cluster headaches.
My abstract entitled Migraine: new surgical treatment was accepted (# 173) in the last annual meeting of neurological surgeons in San Diego
The initial history of left arm weakness was a bit concerning, but glad all your tests turned out ok. Incidentally, Thyroid and blood counts should have been checked. Before chalking everything up to menopause (which is a possibility), it's important to rule out any treatable conditions that could cause your symptoms first. Migraines can certainly start in the back of the head, but so can many other types of headaches (like tension) and other disease states.
As for the tremors, they shouldn't be causing the migraines. No way to predict your course. Some people's tremors do progressively get worse, while others remain well controlled on their meds. In our experience, treatment is often long-term therapy. Hope that helps.
