When is fainting something else?

Hi there, thanks for taking the time to read my post.

If a person faints, or appears to have fainted, approx. how long would he or she be unconsious before it was regarded as something else? Also, if known, what would the episode then be regarded as?

Any help at all would be greatly apprecieated. x

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
If the fainting takes place after sun stroke, exertion and occasionally without a history you have to rehydrate the person and there is nothing to worry.
If the fainting has no reason and is repetitive then you have to worry and go for medical diagnosis of the problem.(Neurologist)
Take care
