back pain lower and down legs

I'm a 29 year old female. I have been experiencing lower back pain that radiates down my legs for the past 3 years. I've been to the doctor but all he really does is give me muscle relaxers and pain pills. I've noticed when I walk my back pops and it is loud enough that my husband has commented on the sound. It's starting to effect my job, ( I'm a hair dresser.) I just don't know what direction I should go next. I really am at my wits end. The pain is constant and is very uncomfortable. I can't sit for long periods of time. I find myself standing all day then I can't get comfortable at night so I'm up a lot at night. What should I do?

i have had cronic low back pain/ discomfort. the pain goes into my legs. the pain starts when my muscles start to tense up in my lowback and cause my legs to bother me. i have full body twitches going on but controlled with baclofen. ive had emgs, mri's, xrays of my back and brain with no negative out come. they tell me that theres nothing wrong. so they perscribe me tramodol, baclofen, mobic and amitripoline. they help some but i am limited on movement and i lost my job for my condition now i cant get a job. i was told that i should stop taking my meds and get a job by my doctor today. sounds like he wants me in pain. i get so bad that i cant get out of the car or be to lift my legs to walk. steps are really hard to do. i have had physical therapy for 6 months and they discharged me. they stated that i wasn't getting better. what can i do???? i dont want to live this way!

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,
The cause of your symptoms could be a problem with the vertebral column and compression of spinal nerves . Please go for an X ray LS spine and MRI of the spine  with contrast and consult a neurologist . Hope this helps you . Take care and regards !
