basal ganglia calcification or what?

Hi all,

So my Grandmother was feeling like she had a headache when she woke up a few days back and her neck was hurting too. She said she was feeling dizzy too and her back was hurting as well. In addition, she said she was feeling weakness. She said this had happened to her before and when she went to the doctors, they just said it was a pinched nerve and should be fine. This time, when they took a CT scan, they said she had basal ganglia calcification. I am really worried because I don't know how she has this all of a sudden. She is 65 years old. Is this something called fahr's syndrome? Can someone please explain this to me and also if it is dangerous? What can we do to prevent this?
Thank you so much.
