I guess it depends on what kind of pain it is. I take gabapenten, methocarbomal and oxycodone.

Hello Maddmark,

It is NEVER advisable to take anything that is not prescribed by a physician, especially marijuana. It's a shame that you cannot get into a good PMP. You have a documented painful condition that cannot be denied. There should be help available for your pain.....regardless of how you dress or the number of tattoos that adorn your body. Pain is pain and it knows no age, gender, race, creed, social-economical class, etc. Good PMPs recognize that fact.

I know a lot of senior citizens. And I don't know any senior citizens that are selling their pain management medications. Not one.  I am sorry that you do.

I hope you will find some solutions to your pain management.

Please feel free to keep in touch and let us know how you are doing.

Take Care,
~Tuck

I wish I could, but if it showed up in my system IN the VA healthcare system I would be marked as a drug addict so I could forget ever getting any help from them. I have heard that weed helps alot of people, I wish the medical world would open thier eyes on this issue. just let me tell you I am a biker and I look like one ,(long hair, tatoo's etc.) when I tell the doctors of all the pain I have they just assume i'm seeking drugs. because these days nine out of ten people who see doctors for pain are drug addicts. up here where I live(maine) most doctors will not take any new patients with pain because of this, plus the goverment is cracking down on this. so this makes it a nightmare for people who look like me to get help. I know senior citizens that are getting rich selling their meds . it frustrates the hell out of me to see people who don't need it get loaded up by doctors, and people who look like me can't get help at all, and when we do ,we are called in for counts on meds at any time and if your caught with weed in your system you are shut off.some even have contracts with patients before precriptions will be given. I haven't smoked weed since high school , until alot of changes are made ,I won't be able to ,but belive me brother I would love to. thanks maddmark
