dilantin seizure while sleeping

Hi, my sister has sezuire disorder. It was caused by avm in brain.She had brain surgey at thirteen.Question; Who put you on dilantin?
Was it nuerologist . Did you have a ct or mri ?
Sezuires can sometimes be caused by fever, medications etc. In a grand mall you usually loose loss of bladder or bowels. Why would they put you on sezuire medicine without knowing cause? I would definetly ask doc. this. If mri or ct not done, insist on getting one. See a neurologist! If there is no brain involvement ,ask him to wheen you off dilantin. There is no reason to be on this if brain is not involved.
You should not stop taking dilantin, yes you can have sezuire if you stop taking dilantin.
I would be wondering why you had sezuire. You can loose your license if dmv gets wind of this. I would want an all clear of brain, just in case.
