dizziness, numbness in feet and arms, fainting

I am a 24 y.o. healthy woman who has been experiencing dizziness for the last couple of months which has gotten much worse in the last week. It is not related to getting up from sitting, and the room does not spin. I do not experience N&V, tinnitus, or pressure. It is a momentary (few seconds) feeling of dizziness. I have noticed the dizziness to occur when I keep my head still and move my gaze to the left and right. It does not occur when I gaze up and down. The dizziness also occurs just sitting or walking. I also feel occasional numbness (pins and needles feeling) in my feet. I almost fainted twice this morning, felt slighly nauseous and experienced tingly sensations in my arms and legs. I am scared.
I have had an ECG, blood work, and a hearing test which were all normal. A scope introduced through the nose revealed no problems with inner ears. I tried to have an MRI but couldn

last may i started having lightheadedness, dizziness, near
blackouts, nauesa, occasional chest pains, and a feeling of weakness.tested positive on the tilt test. im 43  in good shape for my age, not overweight. ekg shows clear but my arotic valuve is bi-cuspid instead of tricuspid ,also have orthostatic blood pressure. i have watched myself to see if there is anything that i am doing to cause all of this. does anyone have any information on neurocardigenic syncope?

Dear Pat:

One of the problems with diabetes, even diet controlled diabetes is that long term subtle changes in the sugar level can lead to symptoms as you describe.  One way of telling if your diabetes is truely being in control by your diet is to have a hemoglobin A1c level checked.  If it is above 10 then your diabetes is not in control, and you may need oral hyperglycemic agents.

I am a diet controlled diabetic, I have this tingling and numbness in my left foot.  I have poor circulation, but that has been a problem for about 25-30 years.  I had an acoustic nueroma when I was 20, and there for a while anything that could go wrong did.  I'm a little concerned about this problem

Dear Allie:

I am not sure what to tell you.  If everything is normal, ionized calcium, thyroid tests, HCT and hemoglobin.... then it doesn't sound metabolic.  What is blood pressure?  Do you have mitral valve prolapse?  When they measured your orthostatic blood pressure, what was the differential?  What was your B12 and folate level?  There is a possibility that your syncopial spells are cardiac related, have been on a tilt table to see if you might have positional syncopy?  What you describe can be a side effect of wellbutrin.  I would check with your internal medicine doctor.  Sorry I can't be of more help.

Sincerely,
