do i have ms

ive been experiencing strange feeling in my arms. i find it difficuly to do little things and feel as though my co-ordination is off. i have been diagnosed with anxiety but somehow think that ms could be the underlying cause of my anxiety. it first started in the left arm and now progressed into the right arm. my arms feel limp and like i dont feel them 100%, i feel like my movement is slurry. i can do activities but i feel like im having diffulties doing so and dont understant how anxiety can cause this.

  Hi Mary,
Have you been to a Neurologist and had any kind of a workup for these symptoms you are experiencing?  Are you on any meds for the anxiety? Sometimes if the dose is to high or you are taking it to frequently or mixing certain ones, you may have some of these sx you are describing.

Usually (but not always) MS starts unilaterally (one sided)  with sx. Then as it progresses it can and often does go into both sides (Bi-Laterally).

Mary, I think that your first start would be to get in to see a neurologist if you have not already done so to get proper testing to rule other things out that can mimic MS.

Hope this helps..
Take Care,
~Tonya

Hi...there r so many different conditions including low levels of vitamins and minerals that could also cause the anxiety and co-ordination issues.

Do see a dr and get labs done to be certain as to what it is instead of worrying ur self.

The dr will test u for several diff things....like MS, lymes, lupus...ect.....so don't worry until u know what it is.

Good luck
