dont know whats going on

Hello I am a 24 yr old African-American male I have been to the doctors and er too many times so far all my test have came back negative from blood work, ekg, stress test, ultrasound of my heart, and soon I will have a mri of my neck and back and I have a neurology appointment next month. But I feel as if my symptoms are getting worse.

My symptoms are: left arm and leg pain as well as feeling weak all day, shortness of breath at times, chest feels like its heavy, my blood pressure goes up and down, I can feel my heart beating in other parts of my body, neck stiffness, shoulder and back pain, headaches come and go often, I get a sharp stinging pain in my head that last 1 to 5 sec, my ears always pop and hurt, feels like drainage commin from my ears, my nose runs and stops up often, ringing noise in my ear, feels like my skin is burning even on my head, joint and muscle pain badly, confusion, vision is not the best at times its hard to focus, chest pain. always tired and feeling weak.

This all started a few months ago when i was hospitalized for bronchitis that's when I had the heart test ran and a ct scan last month and no one seems to know what's going on i just always feel terrible and feel like something is really wrong even though the doctors say I'm fine there's nothing to worry about. I would just like someone else's opinion on what may be wrong and what the next step I should take in figureing out what is going on before all this i was healthy running around active playing sports Workin hard now I feel I have no life cause I can't do much.

Thanks for using the forum. I am happy to address your questions, and my answer will be based on the information you provided here. Please make sure you recognize that this forum is for educational purposes only, and it does not substitute for a formal office visit with a doctor.

Without the ability to examine and obtain a history, I cannot tell you what the exact cause of the symptoms is. However I will try to provide you with some useful information.

I am sorry to hear about the symptoms that you are experiencing.  It may be helpful to get a few more details about your current issues.  It appears that you had further workup pending at the time of your first post, including an MRI Neck, and CT of the chest.  Was an MRI Brain performed?  Did these tests reveal abnormal findings?

You mentioned left arm and leg pain.  Do you have weakness only on that side, or is it generalized weakness?  Have you had any trauma or injury to your back or neck?  Are you experiencing any numbness or tingling?

What would be the top 2 symptoms that are affecting you the most right now?

I hope you have found some answers, and have had improvement in your symptoms.  I would continue working with your physicians as they try to find a diagnosis.

I feel as if we have similar symptoms.. I have been to the ER, family doctors, walk in's probably about 50 times this year for them to try and figure out whats wrong with me. Headaches, chest pains, left arm pains, shooting pains, etc. Every one of them say it's anxiety or stress, but I did not feel that stressed or anxious about anything.. I have had several attacks which make me believe it is anxiety but it really ***** because it keeps me from doing a lot of stuff i want to be doing. I always feel like "Omg, I am having a heart attack" I get into ER they take blood, run tests... everything is A-OK.... which is great to hear, but not that great when you feel this physical symptoms.. I think we just need to think positively and get all this nonsense out of our minds. We are in a age group where stress and anxiety just produces 20+ but it really does suck.. I'm with ya on this one.... Plz let me know if you find anything out... I feel like i've tried everything and nothing seems to work.
