Yup, I got you. I wouldn't want to give up my Lyrica, either. Sometimes wounds won't heal right and gosh can it do a number on tissues. I'm sorry you have to use a chair. If it's any consolation, I am from the Sixties era, and I saw a long-hair one day in the pharmacy in a chair, a vet wearing military shirt, the vehicle was a humdinger and I said so. Later when I got in my car, I saw him sitting on the van lift like a porch, getting a smoke, and he was looking at the wind in the trees, and I never seen such a free man in all my life. Maybe the methadone will make it easier to make a few steps here there and yon...I'd hate to use one in my house.
Thanks for your responce and experience with usong two strong drugs together.
I use Methadone for several reasons. But it is new Drug I have been givin after takeing Hydrocodone 7.5 and at times I was given 10's. But I have been on Lyrica for about three years now for Nerve Pain caused by a DR's screw up in harvesting my vaine from my left leg ..Cut threw everything like a butcher. ' But he did save my life so I nave just gone on living this was.. up till now when things are progressing very fast. ...Power chair now ..
Thank you for your answer and responce.
no spell checl. I hope you understand ?
Well, the methadone ought to be enough to kill any pain. But Lyrica is good for spasming, tho, and for some types of pain that drugs like methadone won't touch. Mainly you will get sleepier, so if you tend to pass out a lot when you're taking them, talk to your prescribing doc about that. You can take them at different times to offset it, perhaps. Go to drugs.com and they'll tell you any warnings about using the two together. I take an opiate and Lyrica at the same time, but I recall when I first used them together, I would get really sleepy for a couple weeks there. But then I got used to it and don't have any problems for years now.
