I'll keep that in mind but that's not a particular test I've gotten. In general when should people's vitamin D levels be tested and why though? I know its an essential vitamin but when is it generally tested for? Are there any conditions that lower a person's ability to process it. I know one thing they ruled me out for was Wilson's Disease where the body can't process copper which is a neurological disorder. Is there something similar from vitamin D? I know its in many foods as an additive so most people in the U.S. at least would not have a problem with vitamin defieciences. Where would it generally be a problem?

If you've had vitamin D testing at Quest in the last two years, I would strongly recommend considering having your levels rechecked.
