head Numbness, pressure in ears, general weakness in arms and legs

Hi,
I am experiencing strange symptoms suchs are numbness in my head and face. My head feels like cotton ball.. I have pressure in ears, like they are filled with water.. but i have no trouble hearing. my whole body is weak, it's hard to move legs and arms.. there is numbness in leg and arms as well.  I'm constantly dizzy and tired, cannot concentrate.
I called for appointment, but soonest appointment is  available in 2 weeks from now ( some people just don't care).
I can't stop thinking negative, what is going on with me? what is possibility of brain tumor? can I wait 2 weeks or should i go to emergency room?

thanks

I have had these same symptoms for the past 2 years. I have been to many doctor's and check for virtually everything. It was my Ear, Nose and Throat specialist that finally diagnosed me with Menier's Disease. It has many of the same symptoms as altitude sickness too. They tried prescribing me Valium to help with the vertigo but unfortunately there is no cure currently. I don't take the valium. I have substituted with more of a homeopathic approach. I take ginger root now to help with the vertigo. I have also increased my potassium as well as Vitamin A and C. It helps to mildly alleviate some of the pain and the frequency of attacks. I hope this helps.

My Symptoms:
Vertigo
Anxiety
Ear Pressure like water is in the ear
Headaches
Vomiting due to vertigo
Weakness in arms, hips and knees
Falling due to vertigo and knees weakened

Hi there.
I'm an eighteen year old women and have been experiencing the same problems.  They tested me for a brain tumor (which can be a common reason for these type of symptomns) but there is nothing wrong with me, or so they say.  I had a CT scan done and everything looks to be okay, but nothing is taking the symptoms away!

I have had these same issues for the past two years.  This past week they have taken a turn for the worst.  I have numbness in my face all the time on the right side - and pains one the right side of my head.  Pressure in my right ear. Two years ago I had an MRI of my neck and head and another one to look at all the blood vessels in my head and neck.  They all turned out just fine.  The symptoms have been coming and going since then.  My right leg from the waist down to my toes goes numb often as well.  For the past six months I have been dizzy to top it off.  The doc says vertigo.  I think all my symptoms are related.  I am 28 years old and feel like I am falling apart.  I am planning on going to the doctor again this week.  I have been very scared lately and my two young children can tell something is wrong.  Has anyone out there found any good explanations for the numbness of the face?
