extreme lightheadedness and head pressure. i feel like i will fall when i stand up for long periods at a time.

hey i am really scared of doctors and needles and stuff so i decided to try this to get some answers. About a month ago tor. The i left work early because i was really sick at my stomach and i felt like i was about to pass out or some thing. about a week later my mom talked me into going to the doctor. I went and the doc said it was more than likely a ear-infection. I got some meds that i was suppose to take for 10 days...that med made me even more dizzy because that was one of the side effects. I went to a ear-nose-throat doc when that wasnt working and he said that medication wasnt helping me so i needed to get off of it. he said it was probably a virus and my dizzyness was going to last for about 2 more weeks...he said it usually takes 2 weeks of being sick and 2 weeks to recover. Well today is two weeks and i still get the feeling at times like i am going to pass out or something....i dont even have to be standing up....i can be driving and that feeling come over me. i am scared to get a mri ot ct because i am afraid they will tell me something is really wrong and i am going to die....plwase tell me this is not as bad as it seems to me.....i dont wanna die i am only 20 ywars old. Is it cuased from stress cause i stress all the time.....?!

Do not try zoloft or psych drugs.  This is not the solution.  Go to a naturopath or alternative medicine doctor and get a full check out.  You can handle these things with changes of nutrition and allergy tests.  A life on drugs is a short life.  I know, my brother is nearly there.

This could be ur first sign of vertigo I was diagnosed when I was 11 I went to an ent or ears nose and throat doctor did a hearing test and got ears cleaned but nothing helped n they couldn't find anything, went to neurology and they thought it might be caused by migraine no meds worked then they gave me propanolol n that helped a bit. i am 20 now and I still have vertigo but it is manageable. tests r the bestvway to find out anything don't be afraid to take an extra long time in the docs office to get it figured out. u don't want it to get worse hope this helps u to find what u may have to do also stress is a HUGE thing when it comes to vertigo try something simple like zoloft little side affects great for relieving pressure from stress

You could have high blood pressure. But if its something more serious, consider this.. if you put it off, what could happen. I know that going to the Dr. is scarry, but you are so young and have so much ahead of you. Embrace life, take charge and be brave! I will be praying for you if thats ok
Blessings
