Hi my son has epilepsy which has been well controlled now for four years. However for the past month he has had a nasty pain and pressure in his forehead and on several occasions has started to go into a grand mal seizure. The GP said it may be related to hayfever, though we disagree and so did the out of hours GP last week who was disgusted that our GP had not referred my son to the neurologist when the symptoms first began. We are now waiting for neuro appointment and feel he may be heading for a massive seizure! Has anyone experienced anything similar?

I have same symptoms. Google "pain in the head" in washington post from around 2004. This guy had ethmoid problems and I believe it's what I have. Middle turbinectomy may be the solution.
Do you think an MRI might show something more?
I have had pressure in my head, neck pain and facial pain all over for almost a year and doctors haven't been able to figure out what is causing it. I have this daily...with varying degrees of pain. CT scan was normal, sinuses are clear...possible tension headaches-meds didn't help. Ibuprofen doesn't help. This *****! I feel stupid, confused, and depressed...just want to know what this is. Massage and chiropractic adjustments help, but for only 5-10 minutes afterwards. :-(
I just joined because of similar. I spotted some info about a spinal leak & now I have been looking to see if that could be my problem. It is all new to me so I jusr thougth I would mentioned it since I just found it too. I am not sure the speeling but I think it is ceribrial spinal leak or so, good luck to you both!
I have this as well and have a severe feeling of pressure in my head and down on my shoulders and me in general. Something like being able to feel all of the gravit pressing down on me. I have also been getting nauseous and dizzy and have been in the hospital for 3 days. They released me without a definitive diagnosis. It "could be" migraine. I have had those 20 years ago and this is nothing similar. God bless you
Curious - my son who is 25 had bell's palsy last April and while the paralysis went away he continues to have that pressure. He also became clinically depressed after the Bell;s and I wondered if you are depressed? Or have had Bell's/
