had my first seizure at 25 years old

about 3 weeks ago i had my first seizure.  my fiance took me to the er and they did a CT scan and found a 9 by 4 mm calcium deposit on the right side of my brain. they sent me to a dr that ordered an MRI and EEG test. they have yet to cLl me with the results so i have been doing my own research. going by what my fiance said about the seizure ( i dont remember any of it at all ) that i had, i ahd a grand mal seizure.  i wrote down everything that i found and my fiance said that was exactley what happened.  i have also been blacking out alot since then and founf that i also could be having petit mal seizures. since the dr's here aren't giving me any information and i cant get in to see the neurologist until May i was hoping someone here could give me some sort of answer.
thank you

Hi there!

Well, it would be difficult to comment on the situation without a detailed clinical evaluation. Seizures could occur due to a number of reasons including hypoglycemia, electrolyte imbalances, infections etc. The calcification on the CT may not necessarily be related to the seizures. It would be best to discuss the situation and the management (if required) in detail with your treating neurologist.
Hope this is helpful.

Take care!
