head pressure

These last couple of weeks I have been experiencing some pressure in the front half of my head. There hasnt been any pain with it, just pressure. It comes and goes and when im experiencing it, it lasts for about an hour or two and then goes away for about two to three hours. I have been having panic attacks since the first time i felt the pressure, thinking that im going to die, and that really freaks me out cuz im only 24 years old and dont want to die yet. I have been thinking about getting a cat scan or an mri, but am not sure about how to go about getting one done. Should I get one?? Or could this just be a side effect of my panic disorder?? I would feel so much better if I were to get a scan done just to make sure that nothing is wrong with my brain. Also, since this has started, I have been more tired than usual. It doesnt matter how much or little sleep I get, im still tired. Any advice?

Thank you so much for the advice. I had thought about finding a neurologist, but wasnt sure if i should. I will do that tomorrow. and I will keep you informed.

Hi freaked out,
Well your symptoms indeed suggest that these symptoms can be due to panic attack or anxiety.
It also suggests there can be some pathology existing in brain.
Hence they need to be ruled out.
I think either you can meet your PCP and ask for reference to neurologist or you can directly locate a neurologist and get yourself evaluated.
I think you should get MRI / CAT san done to evaluate and confirm about the diagnosis.
Keep me informed.
Bye.
