hemangioma on the brain

I found out back in october after I had a hysterectomy that I had a hemangioma on my right side of my brain, I am having the headache's and at first I was having the nausea but now it is just the headaches. My question is will this also affect my eyes because my eyes feel like they are getting weak and cloudy sometimes, I'm worried that it is going to bust and I'm going to bleed to death. The Dr. told my husband if I ever get hit in the head to bring me back to the ER immediately.

Besides of having the MRI's or CT scan is there nothing else that can be done to help me with the headaches and my vision. I am not able to see a dr right now due to no insurance so I don't know when I will be able to see one and all i'm taking right now is pain reliever and it don't help. I tried a caffiene pill that my dr that done my hysterectomy gave me and it didn't really help either. I have been just living with the migraines. thanks

Hi there. The hemangiomas can cause fatal hemorrhage if your head hits accidentally. Hence your husband should rush to the hospital in such an event. This hemangioma can compress on the brain stem or cause raised intracranial pressure to affect vision. Usually serial MRIs are done to check the growth over years and is left untouched. The best time to operate Is usually immediately following a hemorrhage.  The risk of bursting remains and you and husband need to be very vigilant. Take care.
