I have a rare genitic disease called Riegers Anomally...that in some recent studies have link it to genetic Small Brain Vessel disease...I have symptoms that mimic MS and RA to Lupus....all test for RA and Lupus are negitive...I have already had an eye bleed...I have been to a neuro doctor but he did not perform any test he just did a look at my walk and stuff...Doctors do not know much about Riegers Anomally and are learning stuff all the time so I keep up by digging around myself..so when I came acrossed this study between Reigers and SBVD it made me consider that I need to be checked for it considing I have had a lifetime of migraines also..I have been taking Imetrex for them but now have stopped because you are not to take this if you are at risk...So that just leaves me with Ibuprphen....because I cannot get in to see my doctor for another month with this issue because she is so overbooked....just to be on the safe side I was curious of needing to know the risk of ib's....thnkyou much for any suggestions

Hey shellbell98632.
Dr. Sharma is very correct to point out your unfounded suspicions.
I can understand your need for a diagnosis, as it may offer some relief
to at least know what it is that you are dealing with.
When I was growing up I suffered from anxiety, panic attacks and
debilitating chest and back pains. I developed a fear of dying from the severity of the pain which led to insomnia, as I was afraid to fall asleep-thinking that I could "will" the avoidance of possible death if I could stay awake!
I even had a plan in such an event, to scream so loud, that someone would hear me from the neighborhood and come to my rescue!
My mom was out for the night from her 10mg valium pill.
Doctor A was my Angel and helped me overcome some of my mental and physical issues. He was big on holistic so he never gave me any drugs.
Just some printed sheets with breathing exercises, physical activities and exercises, and  "good thinking" advice along with some general health tips
It worked for a while till later I developed a mystery condition, involving my old symptoms and every other symptom you can imagine.
The more desperate I became to get answers, the more the doctors treated me like a hot potato and then like some lunatic who invents all these symptoms. Idiopathic, psychosomatic, auto-immune,blah,blah,blah!
NOBODY cared!   Some oath they took. They were no Dr A, for sure!
So I know in my gut how you feel!!! And it is a very lonely place when nobody understands what you are going through.
One day - I guess I reached that critical point of DO or DIE- and decided
I had enough. It became my quest to change things.
My desperation fueled my intentions in a way. I communicated with gurus,
healers, I started meditating, fasting, praying.
A horrific near fatal accident was THE turning point of my life, as this event was to me like a true Divine Intervention-a response to my prayers that connected me to a Power, larger than anything I ever knew.
The answers started coming faster and faster for everything!
It was like I had a magic wand in my hands. No more fears, no worries.
My symptoms were simply vanishing, as whatever natural remedy I would take was the perfect one. I learned how to breath properly- stress and anxiety make the sufferers breathe so terribly wrong that it just perpetuates the suffering forever!- I became a passionate student of health and wellness. My life was now mainly Spirit driven and I realized that very little outside of me had changed and yet because of my own changes
inside of me, the world had become a better and safer place.
For some reason I feel compelled to share this with you, as I know you
are at a place similar to where I was at one time. Gosh it feels like it was in a different lifetime! You are not far from the the path you need to be on.
With some support from special people around, you will achieve it.
Stay strong, focus on what you want and let your Spirit guide you.
Post again or pm me personally with details about your situation.
May be I can help.
Blessings.
Niko

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hello dear and a warm welcome to the medhelp forum. I don’t know how you are suspecting a small vessel brain disease since this is diagnosed on a CAT/MRI scan done incidentally to investigate other neurological symptoms. It is a finding with possible cause like hypertension, diabetes or hypercholesterolemia. What are your neurological symptoms that make you think you have this? This condition can be a precursor of stroke and should be taken as a warning to make lifestyle modifications to prevent a future stroke. You need a physician’s supervision to check you for predisposing conditions if you have, and confirm or rule this out. Maintain blood sugar, blood pressure and serum lipid profile. Wish you all the best.
