lump on forehead

Dear Dr.
I have had a headache for approximately 4 weeks.  I have written it off to everything stress, sinus, and allergies.  I went to the gp last week and received an antibiotic for a sinus infection.  Unfortunately, I still have the headache.  Fortunately, I don't have a sinus infection.  I have had a lump on my left forhead for about 2 years, but in the last 6 months it has rapidly grown. It is bone, like someone implanted a half marble under my skin into the bone (the skin moves freely over the lump).  I think I am finally starting to put 2+2 together.  I was having vision problems about 6 weeks ago in which I got new glasses.  The ringing in my ears has been getting louder over the course of the 6 months.  My left eye has started to droop a little, but I was writing that off to age (40).  Aspirin and Fioricet helps but is no cure.  I am starting to believe that these symptoms are all related to this lump.  Is it possible?  Do you have any suggestions to what this might be?  What type of dr. do I see?  Orthopedic, Neurologist?  Thank you so much for your help.
Janet

It is hard like bone, not movable and more like a growth extending from the skull.  It does however, stop the headache when pressed firm but when released the headache returns within seconds.  The pain that comes from the lump after compression is not superficial pain, but a  sharp pain that radiates into the eye and the top portion of my head about 4 inches away.  I am concerned because within the last year I have had some immune disorders, Lichen Planus and Melasma, along with cervical cancer (which was removed and cleared so far).  I have been tested for other types of cancer, which came out negative, but that was almost a year ago.  Should I be concerned?  It is possible that this is the site of a head injury, blunt force into a wall, I had about 10 years ago playing indoor soccer?  Could the bone have healed wrong?  Why would it start growing again?

Hello.

The symptoms can not be explained by this growth. This is probably outside the skull cavity. You should note the nature if the lump. Is it hard, movable and painful to touch?
