muscletwitches

I have had twitches in my legs for about 12 months.I have seen a neurologist and been diagnosed with heriditary motor and sensory neuropathy.
This disease does run in my family and I had other signs such as fatigue, high arches in my feet, hammer toe etc.
At least I have got a reason for the twitches--albeit not the answer I wanted.

Hello Donna,

I also have CMT as does my 12 yr old daughter.  We both suffer from constant twitching among other symptoms.  Did you have the DNA test to determine which sub type you have?

Hi, Thank you for your question. You require EMG or nerve conduction test to know the extent of neuropathy that may be the main reason of your twitches. This investigations will help you in order to start appropriate treatment. Hope this helps.
