night seizures

Hi, about a year and a half ago I had my first seizure, I have now had a total of three (about six months apart.)I am on medication and each have occurred while I was sleeping in the early hours of the morning. Each have also occurred after an extremely stressful event. Is there a correlation between stress and seizures AND...are there articles written on different types of seizures, in particular seizures that occur mainly at night.

thanks

I was diagnosed with epilepsy about 5 years ago.  Every seizure I have ever had except for one has happened in or around sleep.  I was researching this myself and found the following:

Hello.

Stress is definitely related to seizures. Stress is considered to be a trigger.

I have searched in google, and have found this useful link. Please post further, if you have some more queries.

The following article explores the origin of sleep related seizures in frontal lobe.
