passing out

i have a 15 year old son who just passed out for no reason.  a couple of weeks ago he fell an passed out at school while playing in the gym which caused a big knot on head had him checked by doctor he was ok       should i be concerned

I would have him checked by the PC he usually goes to....was he sitting down prior to the fall this PM?......what was he doing at school when it happened?....running.....or was he sitting and got up too fast?....

yes he fell an school an was checked out by family doctor. tonight he passed out while walking thru the house he now has a carpet burn on his face from the fall an busted his lip was a little dizzy  before he passed out  he says he feels ok now

...so he fell twice?.....if he passed out and then became sick, he may have had a concussion....was he checked both times?......and since this is a 2x incident, then u should watch him closely and ask his dr what he reccomends....BP.....should be checked also......

thanks for the information.  i just worried it might have something to do with him falling a couple of weeks ago , they told me at school when he fell it knocked him out an made him sick

sounds like he was taken caare of after the incident.....only if he has a reoccurance of the fainting or other symptoms develope he should be ok....since he's a teen, it could be so many things......ask him, if he's the type to talk, how he's feeling now and to let u know if there r ne changes.
