pulsating

I have exactly what the first poster describes. I have had it for 9 years and is nothing to do with my heart. It occurs everywhere (arms, legs, torso, head) and although it is constant, it is not in sync with my heartbeat, it is much faster. I too feel it more when lying down, which is normal as when you lie down you are usually prone and not active. You feel it more when still.
I have been misdiagnosed for the last 9 years and finally the medical profession are beginning to listen to what I have to say. I believe I have Lyme`s Disease, although a test a long time ago was negative. The effect on the nervous system and motor neuron nerve cells cause this resonating, although relatively painless in itself I have pain all over my body, wherever I have blood and muscle (i.e. less pain on my chest, as a man) I feel more resonating. I sleep poorly and stiffen up like a corpse, even if I am resting for as little as 30 minutes. I can do most things, but the moment I stop, I am done for, for the rest of that day, no matter how little or much I do. I hope my story helps someone.

This discussion is related to pulsing sensations throughout body.

Hi, I have the same exact symptoms as you. The constant, head-to-toe throbbing, and I stiffen up when resting or sleeping too.
Going on 2.5 years now.
Has anything changed with your diagnosis? Have they confirmed Lyme, or are you healed, etc?
I'm still undiagnosed, although they've tested me for everything they can think of.
I'm interested in hearing where you're currently at. Thanks!!

I have the same thing.  My head neck chest fingers toes all pulse.  Like a heartbeat if it's own everywhere all over.  I have fibromyalgia and chronic migraines and asthma.  I have had coworkers and friends suggest Lyme's but I haven't been tested.  I'm going to see my GP tomorrow and hopefully get some idea what's going on.  Good luck and I how it gets better!!
