Jessegirl, my symptoms have somewhat alleviated. I am still taking tests CT, Bera, ENG, etc. I think the symptoms have dissipated somewhat because I cut out all foods and drink with aspartame. I was drinking a lot of diet cola. Good luck.
Thanks for asking your question, I am suffering from the EXACT same thing! I was looking on here to see if anybody else was and for some advice. If you read this, let us know how you made out at the Neuro.'s office and if you saw a Oto-Neouro., I never even knew they existed - thanks to the doctor for the response, now I know how to proceed also. I have been to a GP, Optho-Neuro., ENT, Neuro. and Allergy Specialist and nothing. However, I still suffer from the symptoms, so....must be somthing!
The best type of doctor to see is a neurologist specializing in dizziness, an 'oto-neurologist'
they can do ENGs and other tests called videonystagmography to diagnose disorder like your and seperate out disorders of the inner ear, brain, or just neck muscles - any of which could be the cause of your symptoms, although nothing stands out as being directly brain related.
The Cleveland Clinic Oto-neurology Center can help if you so wish
Good luck
