sore eyes.

Hi. I am on steroids for TA but there is now a question over that diagnosis. It seems I might have Pseudo tumor Cerebri (as well). My biggest problem is my eyes at the moment They are so sore. I tried drops but they are not helping much. I have blurrey vision on and off all day. Im waiting on a hospital app but could someone recommened any way to relieve the pain in the mean time? Thank you. Cath278

Hi.

These soreness in the eyes may be a local irritation such as that caused by viral infections (classical sore eyes).  However, given your background, it is also prudent to think of other possibilities like increasing pressure in the head and the veins that may be related to this soreness.  I suggest that you have this looked at as soon as feasible.  For now, avoid touching or rubbing your eyes, and wash your hands often.

I hope everything will be fine.  Regards and God bless.
