strange feeling in head

i got in to 2 mva one in 2001 and one in 2006...after first one i had bad headaches and it was found by pt that it was the atlas axis misalinment that was causeing headaches and vertigo...after my last accident in 2006 the vertigo and headache got worst...after accident the back of my head feel like ther was a lot of pressure pushing into my head....i have been told a varity of thing ranging from its migraines to tension headaches to its all in my head...in the last month things got worst i have increased vertigo, headaches, strange sensation in head mostly on right side...vision is a little more blurred on right hearing is less on right and i have a over whelming sense that i am going to die...so i went to chiropractor because it seemed to be structure oriented but since the last adjustment the symtoms have gotten worst and i am afraid it is something serious...my neurolgist said to take myself to er it maybe stroke or seizure but again i am afraid it is some thing life treatening and that nothing can be done....

MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi,

I understand your concern.Your previous history of trauma and the spine involvement may partly explain your current symptoms. However, more serious conditions have to be ruled out like stroke for instance.

Do you experience any numbness  or stiffness over your extremities?

Is there any loss of sensation over the face or extremities?

Were blood tests done like coagulation tests?

Was a neurological exam done ? Was your neurologist able to find a focus of deficit during the exam?

You may discuss with your physician a carotid duplex scan being done to assess the main arteries that supply blood to the brain. Vascular problems that may decrease blood supply to the brain, cardiac problems and lung problems may lead to dizziness or headaches.

Keep calm .Being anxious leads you to panic which may aggravate your condition and may also cause faintness, blurring of vision or the feeling of impending doom

When the attacks recur, sit down calm yourself and regulate your breathing while waiting for assistance.

I hope this helps.
Good Luck and keep us posted.
