topamax and panic attacks

I took only 50 mg of topamax one night and i felt fine.  Stopped taking the medication cause I was scared of the side effects.  Took another dose of 50 mg a few weeks later due to having severe headache.  A few hours later I had a severe panic attack. Three days later I am still having severe panic attacks and hivh anxiety.  How long does this drug take to get out of your system?

   Many times TOPAMAX is used to reduce excess CSF.....it may be RX'd to help prevent seizures or migraines.

  Hi....TOPAMAX is not the type of Drug to take and then stop and take again, as it takes 2 weeks to adjust to the med.....and during that time u will feel foggy and extremely tired if u r nething like me, u may have anxiety bcuz u have a fear of the med...I took it and the only issue I had was during the 2 week adjustment period,...and when I stopped them and I was taking them everyday for a few yrs I got headaches nothing else.....

Talk with ur Dr as to how u feel on the med and off so he/she can suggest what u should do next.
