Welcome to the neurology forum of medhelp. Thanks for writing. Extreme fatigue can be a manifestation of disorders of blood like anemia , hypothyroidism, chronic insomnia. Is there a source for chronic blood loss? Systemic lupus erythematosus needs to be investigated clinically and autoantibody screen including anti nuclear antibody(ANA) and anti ENA(extractable nuclear antigen). Chronic fatigue syndrome could be a possible diagnosis because you have been having chronic fatigue for more than 6 months now, muscle pains, pain in joints, headaches, sleeping problems etc. it is usually a diagnosis of exclusion. Consult a physician immediately who would like to do complete blood counts, thyroid profile, polysomnography or sleep studies. I hope this helps.
