MRI Pictures

Dr.

Here are my MRI pictures, no program or anything, just direct links.  One is a side view, one is of c4/c5 (which I used just as a reference for comparing with the next picture) and one is of c5/c6 (at least I think so).

The Side:  http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n114/ChldsPlay/mri.jpg

C4/C5: http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n114/ChldsPlay/mri3.jpg

C5/C6: http://i110.photobucket.com/albums/n114/ChldsPlay/mri2.jpg

What do you think?   Still recommend ACDF with cage insertion?  Again symptoms include sharp and burning pain in the shoulder sometimes continuing down to my thumb, pain/burning/ along back/side of neck and down to shoulder.  Pain down to armpit and sometimes continuing down the inside of my arm to my pinky and ring finger.  The pain to my armpit can be duplicated easily by tilting my head toward my shoulder and then back.  The same can be done to the other shoulder, but not as strongly or easily as the first shoulder.  Lots of cracking at the base of my neck.  Pain at base of my neck and upper back.  Some headaches coming from the back of my neck.  A feeling of discomfort that feels like it's circulating between my shoulders/armpits and peeking in intensity at my shoulders/armpits.  When lifting there is a pressure in my neck and if it's something heavy I often feel the pressure continue from my neck into my upper chest or back and a little out towards shoulders.  Probably not the best description of the symptoms but there's only so much space and I didn't want to go on and on.

c5-c6   c6-c7 degeneation
your spine are quiet "tired" many degerated disc, but not such bad to cause a severe pain. remember that was done while you were lying down, the spine architecture may differ when you sit down or walk.
i dont see well if the axial cuts are those of c567 but anyway try to use a 3 kg neck traction twice daily for 2- 3 months

That's weird doctor, they work fine when I try the links.  Maybe the hosting site had troubles earlier.

Thanks again doctor for your responses.  I hope you see this post and it doesn't get too buried on the forum.

Can you tell me what it is you see in my MRI pictures?

And is it feasible that an injury from lifting a box (around 40 lbs.) overhead can lead to this?  Especially after 4 years prior to the injury being in a job with constant lifting of boxes, often times overhead, and some computer work mixed in.  And following the injury 3 years of lifting the same boxes with even more computer work mixed in.

Multilevel is betterbecause FIRST SURGERY IS ALWAYS BEST SURGERY, this may prevent a re-opening
