Fear of hiv

i know that this is going to be a strange question. But i am really tensed. i happened to go to a lady whom i have got introduced by one of my friend. she is a housewife but has lots of issues with her husband. one day she invited me to her residence and some pettings happened on the bed but no sex (which is my policy that i wont have sex with any female other than my wife). after the episode the next day, i noticed a needle ***** mark on the skin of my knees. that area was blue and numb. This area is still numb and i dont feel any pain when i ***** this area with a needle. the skin looks very dry and getting shed off. i really worry that while i did the pettings on the bed, some one would have injected blood on the knee skin, as that part was on the floor which i couldn't see. i have heard a lot of incidents where people deliberately do these things to infect others. here i suspect the lady and husband would have done some sort of these things. i know this is strange but still worry as the needle mark and dark blue color was visible and this part of my leg was below the bed level so that any person under the cot (normally indian cots have empty space between the bed and floor where one person can hide).i strongly suspect some one injected me after applying some local anasthesia.

Really worried. Waiting for your comments on this.Forgot to tell you that i got a light fever and diaharea on the 12th day of this episode. Fever stopped on the 14th day and came back on 18th day for one day duration.Diaharea was there for a week.    

i have noticed  a strange behaviour in this  lady after this. This makes me more worried on this issue

Is this possible  or  is it  OCD ? kindly help as i am getting sleepless nights.

Hi there and welcome to the OCD forum!  

To be honest with you, I would find it hard to believe that you were so involved with this woman that you would not notice first someone applying an anesthetic to your knee and then sticking you with a needle.  So I honestly don't think you have anything to worry about in the way of HIV.  Since you do have some sort of a mark on your knee and you are saying it is numb and you did not feel well for quite a while, the best thing for you to do it go and get it checked out.  It really could be even something such as a spider bite.  So make an appointment to have a doctor check it out.  While you are there, you can discuss your fears and I'm sure he/she can reaffirm that you don't have any risk of having HIV.
