i've been on Luvox for about 15 years. I have moderate to severe OCD, this medication has worked the best for me. I have very minimal side effects, and it's never 'fizzled' on me oddly. I have done the therapy but I have found that the medication alone seems to do the job just fine. Perhaps your body is different, as with anyone, we all react differently to different medications. Some work some do not. I wish you the best of luck, and hope you find the best medication that works for you. Don't be afraid to try different combinations. It's the only way you will find out what works best for you. Take care of yourself and best wishes.

i was on luvox for many year's and it did great, then i had a down turn and went into depression and did not care about anything.so now i am on effexor.it seem's ok,but not as good as luvox was.they said after that many year's on it,it could have run it's course.so they changed it.i asked my doctor if i could go back on luvox because it worked really well for me,and she said that will definatley be open for disscussion.i guess like all medication's they can fizzle out after a while.i was on luvox for, i would say 5 year's.you may have some side effect's with a lot of medication's and if they are really bothersome to you, then just let your doctor know.what work's for me,might not work for you and vise versa.take care

I've been on Luvox before, it worked great for me at first but then after a month, maybe less it stopped working, but thats probably because I wasn't doing therapy along with it.
