manic episode due to zoloft

Does a manic episode while taking Zoloft for a short time (4 days) defiantly mean someone is manic depressive. Is there other possible causes or co-existing disorders that could possibly be wrong. Recently diagnosed as manic depressive do to an episode on Zoloft. I'm still waiting to see someone more qualified and get help. originally went in for panic attacks but know think that I was having mixed episodes that made me feel like things where unbearable.   also  Is having intrusive unwanted repetitive  thoughts part of manic depressive

I had a severe reaction that put me in a manic state. I had hallucinations, rapid thoughts, obsessive compulsive behaver, I was really freaking out grinding my teeth stayed up for two days. And I happen to be one of the ones who gets very agitated to. It made my panic attacks worse. When I went to the doctor freeked out my pulse and blood pressure where high also. I was trembling. thats all I can think of now. looking back I can remember manic episodes since I was 8 just not nearly as severe. I really struggled with panic attacks and bipolar my whole life and just  thought maybe we were all screwed up. I finally sought help because of panic attacks not knowing I was having a mixed episode as I believe to be having know.even I couldn't explain how I was feeling. I have a really hard time communicating my thoughts which  I understand to be part of bipolar. anyhow Iv finally evened out on a better note think Iv went from manic to mixed to depressed back to normal. but the fact I cycled so fast is scary cause u never know its like a ticking time bomb!
