Hello,
You do not have anything to worry about if you have not experienced blistering, irritation or swelling of the skin that was exposed to beta mercaptoethanol.
Beta mercaptoethanol is a severe irritant to the skin and mucous membranes. In the event of an exposure, it is extremely important to immediately irrigate the exposed areas of skin and mucous membranes with copious amounts of water.
