Arthritits and tendonosis at 20

Thought i would post this up on here aswell as it seem's like the right place.

I have hade problems with my shoulder's since i was 17 and a Mri scan last year came back normal but this year a ultrasound scan found this.

Right shoulder: Normal appearance to biceps tendon. Normal appearance to the subscapularis. There is tendonosis of the supraspinatous. Normal appearance to infraspinatous. Degenerative change in the acromioclavicular joint.

Left shoulder: Normal appearance to biceps tendon. Normal appearance to the subscapularis. There is tendonosis of the supraspinatous. There is a small delaminated tear of the bursal surface of the supraspinatous. Normal appearance to infraspinatous. Degenerative change in the acromioclavicular joint.

The doctor that done the scan recommended that i should never train again and the problem is going to continue to get worse. This is really bad news for me as i love training and since i have been out of the gym it has caused a number of mental health problems so i will do and take anything to get me back training as i am only 20.

I disagree.  The peoblems you describe are very treatable.  IN addition there is no reason why you cannnot continue to train sensibly at the present time, and return to full activity when you have recovered.
Degenerative changes in the AC joint are frequently aggravated by inclined bench presses, so if this is part of your training, I would definitely take that out of your routine.
As far as the rotator cuff issues (tendinosis) this is usually treated with a combination of oral and/or injected medications, and physical therapy.  Recently, injections of platelet rich plasma have been effective for the treatment of tendonosis through out the body.
If all else fails, there are simple arthroscopic procedures that will eliminate the problems and return you to full activity.

Thanks for the quick reply i really appreciate it. So should i start training again as i haven't trained for nearly 2 years. There are 2 supplements that i have found that sound like they would help me, Cissus quadrangularis and another one containing glucosamine and collagen hydrosylate. Do you think these to together would help and maybe add some fish oil or cod liver oil. Again thanks for the reply ,we should have people like you down in the hospital that i go to.
