Basketball injury, sole of foot lining down the big toe is in pain... for 4 months running now. (diagram)

http://i37.photobucket.com/albums/e55/dudnaito/footlarge.jpg

i will be seeing a doctor once my insurance gets in order, but that won't be for another 2-3 weeks.

i've of course taken aspirin, of course i stretch, and yes I've iced it, used creams, etc.. but it's fairly persistent.

It's actually not painful at all unless I either walk around for more than 30 minutes or I jog, which is quite a lot... something that I've had to refrain from for quite awhile now.

I just walked around the mall for about 90 minutes or so, and even 10 hours later, there's a weak, yet sharp pain especially when i stretch my foot. The pain becomes exponentially pronounced depending on how much i walk/run.

Please see diagram regarding where exactly the pain is.

Thank you.

just got injured while playing basketball, collided into another guy, immediately felt a sharp pain in the sole of my foot, and it's been like that ever since.

is this the diagnosis even if the pain has continued for 4 months?

Unfortunately, I cannot open your diagram.  However, from your description, this may be an acut rupture of the plantar fascia. If so, I would recommend continuing all the things you are doing presently; you can add arch supports, or even a walking boot if necessary.  This injury can take six weeks to heal.
