MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL
Hi there!

Well, management in case of disc herniation would depend on the severity or the grade of the condition. In mild-moderate cases conservative management is preferred with rest, anti-inflammatory medications and physiotherapy to strengthen the back muscles; while in severe cases or moderate cases that fail to respond to conservative management, a surgery may be indicated. I would suggest consulting an orthopedician for a detailed evaluation and suggestion of an appropriate management plan.
Hope this helps.

Take care!
