I know how that feels, I had those symptoms too. They can give you injections to help relieve it, but if it's as bad as it sounds, you may have to have a disc fusion. I just had it done and am very glad I did. Just had the surgery 2 weeks ago and am feeling much better. A day after surgery I didn't have the tingly, numb feeling any more. What I had was called an anterior cervical spine fusion using a plate. It was at c5-c6. Hope this helps.
Hi, neuropathy because of nerve compression seems to be the cause in your case. Physiotherapy and hot fomentation may prove to be helpful.
Lifestyle modifications (e.g., neck schools, instruction in body mechanics, relaxation techniques, postural awareness, and ergonomics and/or workplace modifications) may alleviate symptoms.
