Please clear this up for me

The MRI states
L_-4-L5:A 2 mm left foraminal protrusion abuts the lift L4 nerve root without displacing it.  There is no central or foraminal Stenosis.

It hurts but not with numbness thank God.  I appreciate you getting back to me and since I don't have all the symtoms I guess it will heal on it's own.  It's just hard because I am used to working out everyday by running and lifting weights I guess it will be when my body allows it.  Thanks again for your opinion.  Soccermum

Hello Dear,
Your radiological  findings suggest protrusion or bulging of L4  and L5 discs to the left which does not impinge upon the spinal canal and  it does not narrow the spinal foramen .It does not compress the L4 nerve root. It is a good sign that there is no central or foraminal stenosis. What are your symptoms?Do you have neurological signs like numbness, tingling, radicular pain, cramps? You should consult a neurophysician and get appropriate treatment done.
