There is no such 'rheumatoid arthritis' diet. She just needs to eat healthy, lots of fruits, vegetables and soups, milk and dairy products (in moderation), lean cut of meat, fish (if she does not eat you can ask her doctor if she can take omega-3 supplements), cereals, whole grains etc. She needs to drink 7-8 glasses of water per day. You can ask if a multivitamin supplement will help her.
And am sorry, but there is no cure for RA. Take care!

Hi!
I am sorry to hear about your mother. The gaps in joints could e due to severe rheumatoid arthritis. Apart from pain and other medications, non-drug treatments should be tried—at least a combination of them.
Nondrug treatments of RA : physical therapy-  preserves and improves range of motion, gives strength to muscles, and reduces pain; Hydrotherapy- exercising or relaxing in warm water relaxes your muscles and helps relieve pain (can do by dipping hand in a bowel of warm water); Relaxation therapy utilizes various techniques for releasing muscle tension to relieve pain; Heat therapy is achieved by ultrasound, microwaves, warm wax, or warm moist compresses; Cold therapy can be done with ice packs at home; Occupational therapy – modifies ways of using body to reduce stress on your joints. The occupational therapist helps develop strategies for coping with daily life by adapting to your environment and using different assistive devices. Do discuss this with your mother’s doctor. Take care!

The medical advice given should not be considered a substitute for medical care provided by a doctor who can examine you.
