Wrist hurts 3 weeks after fall...is it normal?

Hi,

Would appreciate advice please.

Three weeks ago i fell face down and broke my left wrist. Had surgery.

When I fell my right wrist hurt like crazy as well and could hardly move it or grip stuff or turn taps/bottles etc  for about 2 weeks. Nobody checked my right hand although i have always complained about it. The doctors said it will pass and it isn't broken-just by looking at it. The last few days it has gotten better but it still hurts (bearable pain) like when i am typing now or try to hold a pan.

The surgeon finally sent me for x-rays after she pressed on my thumb and it hurt a lot. She wrote scaphoid on the referral.

I sent her images of the x-rays. She said that she doesn't see anything but that the resolution of the images i sent aren't good but she said that if there is a fracture that doesn't show up in the x-ray it doesn't have any clinical significance.

Could my wrist and sometimes thumb hurt after 3 weeks without there being a sprain or fracture?

Thanks
