Hi there,
Eight Months is a too long time. You should have seeked the opinion of an orthopaedician and taken appropriate treatment for your problem. In cases where the broken ends of the bones have not shifted out of place and line up correctly surgery may not be needed. Broken collarbones can heal without surgery with the help of an arm support which provides support to the arm.It is important to visit an orthopaedician and get a physical examination and X-rays done. I sincerely hope it helps.
Best wishes and regards!
