Hi there!

There is no upper or lower limit for the number of injections one could have, though there is a safety limit for the dosage. Tolerance to side effects is generally individual dependant and would decrease with increased intervals. Local injections have potentially less side effects than systemic usage. Due to potential side effects, one would still try to restrict the usage, unless absolutely required or when the benefits far outweigh the risks.
Hope this was useful.

Take care!

I had the trigger thumb surgery on both hand, it was the easiest surgery to have.  You really need a good attitude going in.  Never had a problem since.

Hi again!

Yes, you could probably take multiple injections at suggested intervals, as local injections have a very low probability of having systemic side effects. However each time the expected benefits would need to be evaluated by your doctor, against the potential risks. Also one must keep in mind that these would just help to reduce inflammation and in symptoms alleviation but may not treat the underlying pathology.
Hope this helps.

Take care!
