knee pain help?

I have been having terrible knee pain for months. I went to my orthopedic and had a x-ray and an mri. the x-ray was normal the mri showed some fluid, a bakers cyst, and a meniscus tear but my orthopedic believed they were normal findings and sent me to pt. which i ended up not being able to complete due to insurance issues. i did my track season bc i couldn't stay away. i went to see her again bc the pain was worse and she said pt again so ive been doing that. but my knee is always stiff and painfully pops. and its been stinging lately. often it feels like someone is stabing me. thanks your anyhelp

I would get a second opinion! Meniscus tears do not heal on their own and can get worse! You probably need arthoscopic surgery to repair or remove the tear...then you will be much better!
