Pain in the right sole

I have been experincing nagging ache in my right heel & sole when I walk or basically whenever some pressure is applied. Iam an otherwise healthy 32 year old with no prior history of any other malady. Please advise what kind of medication would be appropriate for me.

I cannot suggest any over the counter meds for you as I do not know your medical history.  If the pain or ache in your foot is bothering you a visit to an orthopedist or a podiatrist may be required.  X-rays will be taken before a diagnoses can be made.  In the meantime a cool footbath with epson salts may help to relax your foot muscles and give temporary relief.  good luck

Hi Manoj,

Taking anti-inflammatory analgesic medicines like ibuprofen, diclofenac sodium can help relieve the pain. Also, check your foot wear, it should not have hard sole. Hot fermentation will also help. X-ray foot AP and Lateral view will help in making a diagnosis.
