Chicago - It's almost here!

We're less than three weeks away from the Chicago trip.  I know everyone's mind is on Chris right now, and whether she will be well enough to attend.  But I think you all know how important this gathering is to her, and she wants us to do this no matter what.  So I am sending out one last reminder.  If any of you who have not yet commited would like to attend, there is still time to book, and space available should you need free lodging.  Everyone is invited...this isn't just for OvCa survivors.  There are some great activities planned for the weekend, along with plenty of time to sit around and talk, laugh, and get to know each other.  A dinner is being sponsored for us on Sunday evening, so that will help your food budget.  Our balloon release is scheduled for Saturday at 3 p.m.  It promises to be a great weekend.  If you need info on lodging (free or otherwise), send a private message to me, or butterflytc.  If you have any questions, let us know!

sadly I'm not able to attend, but my heart will be with everyone. Tore cartlige in right knee, another possible surgery!....Yes the same side as the hip, can't seem to catch a break. well at least chemo is done with for now. we shall see whats up in november. I'm hoping for good news on that front.. I wish i knew how to send a web cam message to all,for when your there  on oct 26 -

Gail, I just got off the phone with Chris, and she was thrilled to know that we are still having the event..and will do everything in her power to be well enough to attend, but it has put her mind at ease to know the event will not be cancelled and is going on as planned. I of course will be there with bells on!
