Early Detection Of Ovarian Cancer

Recently read article in blog, womensvoicesforchange.org, regarding early detection of ovarian cancer.  One author of the article, Dr. Poynor, discusses the following: "there are newer tests currently in development and in early clinical use that may be helpful in determining the presence of ovarian cancer. These include OvasureTM which is a test developed at Yale and marketed through Labcorp."  Could you share with us your opinion on the strengths of this kind of early detection screening?  Is Dr. Poynor's point on the shortcomings accurate?
