As I've learned here, there are all manner of symptoms that are attributed to other diseases.. I think you need to take it one step at a time. Were you referred to a Gynecologist? That would be the absolute 1st step.. Be sure to mention your risk factors and as Marie found out-- don't let them "pooh pooh " your symptoms away.
But, cysts are quite common in younger women, and not to "steal" you away from this forum, there is an Ovarian Cyst Forum on this web site. Go to "Health Pages " at the top right and it will explain a lot . But, you still need to see a good Gynecologist and keep us posted...

Yes, before my cancer was found, removed and biopsied I suffered symptoms for years. I was diagnosed with IBS, constipation, pre-menopause, eating too much sugar, not getting enough fiber, not exercising enough, possible hernia, possible ulcer, being stressed, getting old and drinking too much Pepsi. None of those things were the problem. I had OVCA.  Marie

OVCA can only be diagnosed via biopsy.  The symptoms of OVCA are much the same as ovarian cysts.  Take a look at the health pages and the info on types and symptoms of cysts.  Do follow up with your gyn.  Good luck!
