Loop de loop and not a roller coaster

I want to thank you all for all those prayers good wishes and positive vibes.. It paid off today big time...

I have a loop de loop problem and I don't mean a roller coaster.  My radiological oncologist could not find the tumor today.. So back tracking he figured it out.. 2 weeks ago I had 2 different types of ultrasounds.. one was a full abdominal and the other was a Trans vaginal... the full abdominal requires drinking at least 32 oz of water..So he send me out of the room to drink and drink and drink and then we redid the trans vaginal... lo and behold the "TUMOR" reappears.. what it  is actually is a small loop in my bowel where it was resectioned and when I drank the water it sagged ever so slightly..It is indistinguishable from a mass unless you really know what to look for.. There appears no evidence of active cancer as of today.

The needle biopsy fluid showed reactive inflammatory cells with poor differential... that had no cancer cells but was caused by a small hematoma under my incision that we never knew was there... old cells just like this old woman...So gravity has taken its toll even on my bowel resection... not just in usual places...

Whether or not it will have to be surgically repaired remains to be seen. At this point he says no...

So \for today I say thank you G-d and thank you to my family and friends for holding me up when I so wanted to fold... I literally am a walking miracle for today... My last chemo was one year ago  today and I know that is good news in itself...So I added more things to my bucket list today... and looked at the sky driving home  and there was a huge rainbow... Ronni

To add to this conversation.  I am awed by your responses to my happiness.  Thank you all so much for writing to me it means alot...  I will probably be needing a PET scan as my ca 125 continues to climb.. that decision will be made by the gynecological oncologist on the 8th... my thinking is the yukky cells under the hematoma were inflammatory and maybe were raising it.. Don't know.. just know that I am thrilled to be able to look outside and see the sunshine and live for today... Love Ronni
