TC - Home from Hospital!
TC was released from the hospital today! She sounds good and has begun to be able to start eating real food again!
I am leaving early in the morning and will let you all know I made it there ok from her computer.

Hi girls, sure hope those days get better for both of you really quick. There is nothing quite like friendship and that shines out from your post. So glad you are able to eat again, that is an enormous step in the right direction. Maybe I should "adopt" you also TC, then you could be a real sister to Chris. Tomorrow is Halloween, the family is having a party, in honor of Leslee, this was one of her favorite times, we all had so much fun at those parties, hay rack rides, pumpkin carving contests, costumes, good food, scary "ghost" walks through the fields, games, hugh bon fires, smores, treats for the kids, this is one party that the kids all will miss very much, because to them Halloween was Leslee's party.
I felt really good, too, reading your words and picturing you and Chris together. I am glad to hear things are going well. Love, Marie
The two of you being together in support of eachother makes my heart happy. Sigh....I am so glad you are out of the hospital.....the relief it gives Chris.....the love we all share. You guys take care......the picture you painted in my mind fills me with hope and makes me smile. Thanks for taking the time and exerting the energy it took to leave us a note.

Hello again~ I have missed you ~ I have truly felt your prayers, hugs, and good wishes, and am so Thankful to each and everyone of you. It has been an extremely rough road ~but I am mending~.
Chris is here with me, but she is very tired, and sleeps most of the time. I feel bad she drove so far to be with me, and she is not well enough herself. She tells me it is normal with her chemo meds, and she is fine. (But our Chris would say that anyway.) We managed between the two of us to get a casserole made and in the oven for dinner yesterday. talk about hard work (weak as a kitten, cannot lift a kettle or food tray). When we got it in the oven, we sat down in the front room and slapped each other five lol.
It turned out great, and feels wonderful to put food in my belly again. For the moment, it is just eating cuz you have too. The taste buds, or cravings for food have not yet returned. The bypass is still working the kinks out, so spending lot of time back and forth to the washroom. With the ARDS in the lungs it tires me out immensely, hoping each day to see some improvement. For the moment I just wanted to get a message out to all of you, letting you know I am always thinking about you. I am wishing Donna could soar away on the back of a peaceful dove to heaven. I hate thinking of her in pain, and thought of her often while in ICU. The morning of my surgery, I felt all of you in that prayer circle surrounding me, and wishing me well. It felt so comforting.
Rest now, will try and keep watch over all of you, and write when up to it. as I am sure Chris will soon as well. Take care my friends, "I hug you in my thoughts, and I hope you feel it"
