Hi Chris,
I agree that good reports are encouraging, and letting everyone know which chemo worked is valuable information.
I know that this is only a break from the attack of the terrorist cancer, but for now I'll just breathe and relax a bit.
My next chemo will be Avastin/Gemzar which I know is your next chemo as well. I wish you complete success, and and a remission so that you can also relax, and breathe.
Love you,
Jane
Jane,
Please never hesitate to share your good news. No matter what, we all love good news. As a matter fo fact we need to hear good news, right along with the bad.
Enjoy your break, as it is well deserved. Good luck my friend.
Chris
Thank you to everyone who posted and I pray that each and everyone of you will be stable and have NED.
I know this is only a break for me, but after 2 years and ONLY a 4 month break from straight chemo, I'm truly pleased. I'm anxious to hear what my oncologist's plan will be on Monday, especially since the CA did go up for the past 3 months.
Thank you, and my prayers are with all of you for good health.
Jane

Your good news gives everyone else hope...but if you are like me you don't want to jinx yourself either!
ALL THE BEST,
Christina
Excellent! I am so excited and happy for you! Please never hesitate to post the good stuff, too. I understand the feeling, though. I have had good news over the past 6 months or so, and I almost feel like posting makes it look as if I am rubbing it in others' faces. But then I have to think, I know these ladies better than that, and they know me....and know I would never do anything like that. Everyone is encouraged by good news so we can see that it isn't a lost cause.
So, I can say I am so encouraged by your news! Prayers have been answered!!
Gail
Thank you very much for sharing your news. That is GREAT! Its a double-edged sword sometimes. When we need support and write, we're afraid to whine and bring other people down and when we have good news we're afraid to look like we're luckier than others. You did the right thing by sharing with us because even when we're in a bad patch we need to know that its possible to gain a reprieve or even BEAT IT. Thanks
Do something very special this weekend!.
Karen
Good news is encouraging congratulations on yours, I hope you do something to celebrate....Thank you so much for sharing.

Fantastic! Thanks for sharing!
We need to know both the ups (yeah, yeah, yeah, good on you!) and the downs (so sorry about Chris and Becky going through tough times). It's important to maintain that balance, otherwise many of us would have to quit coming here.
It's good for people to know what worked for you ... and that there's hope of, at least, a little break in chemo for those who have higher stages.
So congratulations and keep it going as long as possible!
Congrats on the good news. I hope you are able to enjoy a long, peaceful remission.
Karen
